How To Participate
There are many ways to participate with Bigfork LEAP. Learn how to register your child for participation in our LEAP programs.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are encouraged and welcome at LEAP. Here are details of our volunteer program:
- Minimum of a 2-hour commitment, two to four times per month
- This may include assisting staff with various programs and helping out with Power Hour
- If you have a special skill you wish to share with the kids, you may create a program of your own
- If your talents include art, acting or anything else we currently have as a part of our LEAP after school program, you may volunteer for that specific role
- Be a mentor and spend time with a child one-on-one

DONATIONS
There are several ways you may participate through donating to our program.
- Sponsor a child for a month: $150
- Sponsor a child for a year: $1,350
- Give a dollar amount of your choice
- You may specify which program you want your contribution to be put towards
We welcome and appreciate your gifts. Bigfork LEAP is dependent upon the generous support of our valley. All donations help to create a quality program at a minimal cost to the youth in the community. Statistics show that only 15% of kids in the Flathead Valley
age 6 – 12 who have working parents attend after school programs. Most go home alone after school. A child can spend up to 30 hours a week unsupervised and unattended. Our program will help these children by providing a safe, educational and fun place to be.
